Dates and Fees

Our Campers and Lodgers:

     Children, youth and adults who are mentally challenged from across Ontario enjoy Belwood Lodge & Camp. Our campers typically have Down Syndrome, Autism, CP, OCD, Tourette’s Syndrome, PDD, developmental delays and a large range of other conditions. Many have other underlying issues such as epilepsy, diabetes, are non-verbal, special dietary needs and behavioural concerns. Many of our campers have attended yearly for 20 plus years.

     Belwood Lodge & Camp accepts them for who they are and what challenges they face on a daily basis. We encourage them to be themselves, focus on their strengths and have a great time.

Adult Lodges:

     We provide adults 18 years and older with the opportunity to attend one, two or three weeks at a time. Programs throughout the day are designed to give them choices. During each time frame they may choose one of four activities to participate. We also offer clubs such as newspaper, production, sports, science and cooking/baking clubs. Evening programs are generally set up as a camp wide program which can include casino night, beauty contest, murder mystery, talent shows and dances. Lodgers receive 4:1 camper to staff ratio.

All Age Lodge:

     Our all age lodge provides a 1 or 2 week camping experience for all age groups. They are placed in cabins according to their ages and work directly with their counsellors in attending and participating in daily program. After supper they participate with all cabin groups in programs such as camp fires, mini Olympics, scavenger hunts and air bands. Campers are provided with a 3:1 camper, staff ratio.
